Macau, China:
The Chinese city of Macau has been growing from strength to strength since it left Portuguese rule back in 1999. It has become one of the world’s richest cities, and much of this is down to tourism. Miami, Florida:
Situated on the south eastern tip of the United States, Miami is one of the most popular tourist destinations in America. The weather here is famed for being marvellous all year round, but it’s actually the winter months that are deemed the best due to its low precipitation. It’s for this reason that much of the city’s best events take place between the months of November and March. Notorious for its happening nightlife, Miami plays host to the Miami Winter Music Conference, one of the biggest events in electronic music calendar. Thousands of ravers from across the world travel to watch some of the worlds most famous electronic music artists perform live. The city is also famous for its many successful sports teams, non-bigger than NFL team the Miami Dolphins, so why not take in a truly American experience while basing in the sunshine.
Buenos Aries, Argentina:
Though often overlooked in favour of neighbouring Brazil, Argentina provides tourists with a truly unique South American experience. Its most tourist friend city is its capital and most populated city, Buenos Aries. One must that any food lover simply has to tick of their bucket list is to visit on of the city’s legendary meat markets down by the docks. There you can sample a steak sandwich that is almost worth the airfare alone. The weather in the early months of the year is beautiful and a great way to enjoy this is to visit the Reserva Ecológica Costanera Sur on the outskirts of the city. A haven for nature lovers, you can see a wide variety of different animal species.
